Thanks for the comment GilRo, and I 100% agree with you. I mean just look at some of the moves the Nets made. You already mentioned Yi, but another move like this was when we signed Najrea. I mean when healthy he is a great player, but I think the Nets were more pleased to have the Mexican fan base following them.

There's another reason why NJ would like to see Casspi, and it's called the Economy.

If an Israeli player goes to your team, especially in the north east, you can expect a lot of Jewish community attention.

If Yi is a break to the Chinese market, Casspi is a break into the Jewish/Israeli market. There are a few places in the country that will benefit from that, but NJ is one of them.

I wouldn't call it unsupported speculation. The fact of the matter is that he is working out for us, so I gave out some possibilities that may or may not happen if we like the kid. That's all. Thanks for the comments Bobbo, I appreciate you taking the time to comment.

The basic supposition here is wrong. Yeah, Casspi is going to work out in New Jersey -- as part of the MASS WORKOUTS at the Champion Center June 12-14.

He is scheduled to work out the morning of the 12th, not an individual workout, but a workout that 16 teams will attend.

This is all unsupported speculation.

You know, I have to tell you, I really enjoy this blog and the insight from everyone who participates. I find it to be refreshing and very informative. I wish there were more blogs like it. Anyway, I felt it was about time I posted, I?ve spent most of my time here just lurking and reading, but today for some reason I just felt compelled to say this.
