I guess that proposition is better than what I suggested, but I still think we should draft Earl Clark or DeMar DeRozan depending who is there since both were top defensive players for their respective team

@kwame
how would be beneficial trading Carter for that GARBAGE if you get Boozer???

If the Nets get Boozer it'll mean they give up on that stupid 2010 pipedream and that they'll try to compete now w/ a tremendous core of VC-Boozer-Brook-Devo.

But remember that at least Utah is getting substance back, whereas if Detroit signs him, Utah gets squat. They can offer Bobby, Boone/Sean, Hayes/Hassell, and the Dallas or Golden State pick for Boozer, and all those players expire before 2010, giving them space to sign a potential free agent. I think that it would also be beneficial if the Nets looked into trading Carter for Mason, Hill, Bowen, and Oberto from SA, and drafting Clark.
Harris
Mason
Clark
Boozer
Lopez

A lineup that presents adequate scoring from each position, and we keep fans in the seats. We also have money to spend in 2010 with the likes of LeBron and Wade. Just a thought...

Thanks for the comment. I don't think the Jazz would want Yi because they already have too many shooting big men. I could see something like CDR/Simmons/ and a pick or two happening, but I don't think Thorn would want to trade CDR or give up any draft picks. Next year's draft is already looking to be real deep, and we have two first round picks...Thanks again for the comment.

I agree with most of your ideas except for one.
I think with Boozer expressing this much interest for the nets of detroit there is a good chance that he could wind up with nets for some young guns like Yi, anderson, and a draft pick
And then throw in Bobb Simmons and something could happen
