I agree with you Kwame. I don't think Boozer is happening, so I really would like to see Bass become a Net.

Varejao is too expensive, period. We can't go around paying 8-9 mil a year for players who are not difference makers. Although he is effective, I don't like him at that price.

I think the nets should use their mid level exception on Brandon Bass, since he is young and cheap, which is similar to Rod and Kiki's gameplan. But I'm hoping they get Boozer =]

Thanks for the comment Mark. I find Anderson annoying as well, but his play is effective, and if he platoons with Ryan Anderson and Yi it should work. I think Bass can be a 10 and 10 guy. He has never averaged over 10 rebounds per game, but that is due to his minutes. If the Nets pick him up and platoon him early, I can see him earning more and more time as his play continues to improve.

Nooo, I hate Varejao. He's got this incredibly inflated sense of how much he's worth, and he is guilty sometimes of trying things that aren't in his skill set. I'm biased of course, because I just find him annoying.

I like Bass though, nice energy guy, but how high is his ceiling really? Can he ever be a 10 and 10 guy? I mean, I'm thinking 14 and 7 as his best possible year in my mind
