Thanks for all of the comments guys! I really appreciate it. @Kwame - thanks, I am glad you enjoyed it. @Micheal - I agree with you, we may not be that good, but at least we will be fun to watch. @ Jules - I am excited for Lee too. Also, we do lose Brook and Ryan, but apparently TWill is just as silly as Ryan. He used to walk around L'ville's campus with a Spongebob backpack. Should be interesting. @Stan - I think Bosh wouldn't be the "second star" as you put it, but he will have a ton of help if he comes to NJ. Brook, Devin, C.Lee, and TWill (hopefully). @Mark - Rafer was inconsistent in the playoffs because SVG totally mind-f'ed him in the finals. @Peter - Agreed. @ Sotiris - I am not a big Boozer fan, it seems like he only puts in effort defensively/rebounding-wise when he dominates the ball. I wouldn't want a Boozer-led offense.

I think what your article is about is true and Nets should chase each and every chance they have for King Lebron, but I think that Nets need a powerful PF and they should take a player like Carlos Boozer than risk their limited chances with James

Bottom line, without quality rebounding stud at power forward the team will be 30+ win team. Like the additions but they did not address on-court biggest problem.

I'm not sold on Rafer though. Didn't he prove in the finals that he's a guy who has to play a lot of minutes in order to be effective and/or happy? There are just some guys who can't be subs and be effective, they can't get into their game in a short time

Bosh? Really? I've got reservations about throwing that much money at him, bc I think he's great as a second star but he's not going to carry a team by himself (I see a poor man's Garnett with less defense and intensity). I'm excited that we got Lee and also that we have a lot of cap room, but I hope we don't blow it all like the Nuggets did with Martin or the Hawks did with Joe Johnson on guys that are good but aren't championship-material superstars.

From a guy who boo'd Vince from day 1, its gonna be tough seeing him on an other team. He was a great teammate and a super nice guy.

With that said, I'm excited for Courtney Lee above all else. He looked great in the playoffs, until SVG pulled his minutes in the finals. A solid BIG and the Nets look for real, and maybe Terrence Williams can be that for us.

and no more Brook and Ryan hurts my funny bone...

I think you will see a fair bit of Alston-Harris together in the backcourt (with Lee spending some time at the 3). It makes the Nets small, fast, and possibly fun (or a trainwreck).
