@ Stephen, thanks for the comment man. I am not a fan of Al Harrington. He is a very talented player, but that isn't the issue. He isn't the best teammate, and he is a liability off the court.
@andres - I am with you. I don't think the team is thinking about tanking, but that could be a result of this year.

Harrington? Iverson? Marion?

Those are guys who only care about putting up his numbers, not about winning, not about helping young players develop. Harrington shoots and shoots and shoots and shoots... no thanks... I mean, no PLEASE.

Not to mention I highly doubt the Nets would be interested in spending money on guys like Marion or Iverson, and those players wouldn't want to come to a rebuilding team, which I'm happy with because they're washed up and have turned into locker room cancers.

I think people need to deal with reality. We're in total rebuilding mode. It's all about young players' development, giving them minutes and prominent roles, that mean they'll make mistakes, and that means we'll lose A LOT of games next season.

If you want to see the positive side of it: we'll have high picks next years, so we can only hope to land a couple of studs who change our fate in next years' drafts.

I also want to wish everyone a happy holiday today. I've been thinking about the Nets a lot and how they could become better while staying in their cap space. One move I think the Nets should make is to get Al Harrington from the Knicks. He can shoot, post up, and rebound because of his size. I was thinking of a trade involving Keyon Dooling since the Knicks badly need a point guard and throw in a versatile big guy like Josh Boone or a small forward like Trenton Hassell. Also, since they got rid of Vince Carter to the Magic, I strongly think if they could get him at a mid-level contract for 3 years/18 million, they should go after Allen Iverson. After Ron Artest and Trevor Ariza being signed at deals like what I mentioned before, I think that was a big blow toward a good oppurtunity. So, now that they missed that, the one player I think that could also make a good impact to the team is all star forward Shawn Marion. I have heard reports he will not resign with the Raptors, possibly because of the Hedo Turkoglu signing yesterday, maybe jeapordizing his starting job and playing time.
