c lee has devin harris potential, but in this case we can see the evidence:

1 - he has the confidence to play high level, playoff ball.

2 - his defence is pretty spectacular

3 - devin WILL be double-teamed which will serve for courtney getting good shot, in a dribble drive offense.

4 - he can run with devin, and if lopez continues to get better on the boards, this will serve the nets well

5 - finally, a man on a mission is a dangerous man. proof, see rafaer last year.

Just a random note: Whenever we played the Lakers, Carter would usually do a pretty fine job on Bryant as well. I remember one game the Lakers were down three in the closing seconds and Carter forced Kobe into airballing a potential buzzer-beater.

Sebastian, just to piggy-back on your post, specifically Lee on the defensive end - his opponent's eFG% against SGs was only 45% compared with Vince's which was 51%. Looking even more closely, Lee's opponent eFG% was marketably better than any other 2s/3s on the Nets last year. So while he may not be able to score like Vince, he really does address an outstanding need of the team's which was perimeter D.
