you try to explain the game and sound like your a true analyst. if you felt like carter isnt much of a loss for the nets then try imagining where the nets would be post kidd and jeferson. he sacrificed a season playing for a bad team, making it float in the standings instead getting a sweet deal with other winning teams. dont blame carter if he has a ball hog for a point guard, a soft center and weak wing men.

and please dont try to sound all knowingly. watch more games so you can grab hold of how the game really is.

Brook Lopez is a soft center? Really? That just shows your knowledge of the game right there. If you could understand what I was saying, I never said Vince Carter played poorly for the Nets. I am a big Vince fan, I hope he gets a championship in Orlando if the Nets aren't in it. I simply broke down what I see is going to happen to the Nets now that he is gone. That's all...you have blinders on thinking everything is a knock on Vince when it isn't...clever user name by the way...had to change it though, no cursing is allowed...

Thanks for the comment Domprime. That would be something very interesting to look at, and it could be something we investigate in the future. For the purpose of this post it doesn't make sense. My goal was to see what the impact of him leaving would do for next year's team. So it only makes sense to use video from last year.

Again, this wasn't just to point out Carter's flaws or anything like that, this was just to see how he impacted the Nets.

Isn't it true that besides Harris
and Carter the nets were kind of tink offensively. Leaving Carter
alway's getting double teamed?
If this is true, then I can understand why his motivation to play defense would diminish. Years before, during the jason kid day's would be the films I would want to see. That might be an indication of what Carter can do, if he's not bearing the brunt of being the sole scorer. What does he do on defense then?

when you have players like Hassel, Yi and Harris (not a good 3pt shooter otherwise great)waiting at 3...what do you expect? it`s logic why he didn`t pass then...good luck nets next season.

wonderful post. not a single thing i would change. however i feel like it needs to be said that there will be little to zero lack of certainty in who will be taking the clutch shots next year. watching most nets games either at izod center or on tv i would like to note that for every amazing 3 carter pulled off, devin harris had an equally amazing drive or pullup jumper to win a game. and he still hasnt reached his peek. look for him to be fighting for the starting spot in the all star game next year.

Good work man, it's good to have a visual instead of just describing the fact and putting it into words. Like the person earlier said, it's cool how you and Mark are differentiating yourselves ffrom other nets and sports sites in general
