Well said. Though the countdown is certainly on everybody's mind, there's no need for a graphic. Especially when equal representation is not given.

i think that the whole playing for New york is such a big deal is so overated.Lebron is the best player in the NBA he is already a mega star what difference will it make to every other state then New York if Lebron turns the Knicks in to a championship contender like he did for the cavs. and another thing of course he cares about the players that are going to surround him he wants to be a winner and if he does want to become a mega star like Jordan hes gonna need to win many championships and as wev seen from the past few years he can come close but he cant do it on his own. and besides i still think hel be loyal to cleveland and stay first of all thats his home town and second of all he knows they will do watever it takes to build a good team around him and thats why he got only a 3 year extension so that they would be afraid to lose him and be forced to continue improving the team.

yeah the nets are going to bk, and talent does matter to him because he wants to be somewhere where there is a foundation in place and can win, and although the knicks have a team, i think the nets can provide more incentive in terms of providing an all-star pg and center, and role players. Plus we'll have Mikhail Prokhorov........

The Knicks are more likely to land Lebron than the Nets. Since the Cavs are already a good team, the quality of the team isn't going to be Lebron's main criterion. The cache that comes with being an NYC superstar is the draw. It is a two horse race between Cleveland and the Knicks. Either he goes for the fame and glory of MSG, NYC, and all that, or stays loyal and becomes a Cav for life. Lebron won't care about Devin Harris and Brooke and whatnot because any team he chooses will be an instant contender. Some guys don't want the NY spotlight (Billy Wagner was reluctant, Jake Peavy refused, etc.) but Lebron is made for it and he seems to want to be a mega celebrity.

I'm finally glad someone pointed that out. The knicks are in for a horrible season lol. We have an all star point guard, and an soon 2 be all star center. The knicks have nothing close 2 that.

If it wasn't for the sports page, I wouldn't even read the Daily News. So this definitely annoys me as you could probably guess from the letter.
