Ben - to quote myself:

"If Arenas regains his form from four seasons again, than this is an entirely different conversation, but is that likely?"

Arenas has had three major knee surgeries. If I was a Wizards fan, I would of course hope he can be healthy enough to silence his doubters, but as an outsider, I'm very doubtful he's ever going to be that same player ever again.

Wow. You guys really think that Devin Harris is better than Gilbert? If this is just banking on the fact that Gil is not healthy, then agreed. But a healthy Gil v a healthy Devin Harris, its no contest

Guess the only team we'll have an advantage at most spots will be the Knicks.

It's going to be very painful to read many of these as when we see teams who have better Centers and Point Guards then the Nets, meaning we will have no better players than them...

Manuel - the order was actually determined on overall conference standing from last season. As for a final prediction ... I know I personally try to avoid it because I in general hate putting record/standing predictions out there on paper so I can't be proven horribly wrong 6 months from now, but I think it's something we can consider if more people clamor for it.

are you going to be doing this for every team in the east going backwards in spelling order? cuz this is cool but you should also make your own predictions for where the team your scouting is going to end up in the standings
