I like the NY Mag article that suggests Amare as somone the Nets could spend money on. I just don't think Yi can ever be a starter in this league and a frontcourt of Amare and Brook would just be a total nightmare for teams.

And I honestly have no idea what you're talking about with the smiley faces Jesse....

yeah i understand that because he's treated like a king there and who would wanna give that up? It's just people ignore the nets like there nothing while focusing on the knicks, who are at the same level of competition for the time being. I'd be happy with Rudy Gay also, hes on the rise...

Personally, I think the biggest thing that will keep LeBron in Cleveland and not NY or Brooklyn/NJ is that the Cavs can just pay him more via the Bird Rules. Unless the Cavs are a horrible flop this year, why would he leave?

to tell you the truth, lebron coming here cannot be ruled out. Many people said, oh the nets won't go to brooklyn, then Prokhorov comes to finance the team and is a lock for a new arena in Brooklyn. They said the Nets wouldn't make it to the playoffs back in the early 2000s, and they made two consecutive finals appearances. Anything is possible for this team in my mind, and despite the constant media reports, i think that the Nets will make one (or two) of the biggest free agents signings in the history of this league
