		<description>enjoyed the post, mark. i wanted to chime in re: your point about the losing culture in nj. i think if you set out to rebuild properly, you need to accept that you won&#039;t be competitive. even with vince around it&#039;s hard to see this year&#039;s team competing for anything more than 7/8 in the east, and i&#039;m happy that we&#039;re committing to building a long-term playoff team rather than a perennial bubble team.

i really like the pieces we have in place, even if nobody is a bona fide superstar. harris and lopez are studs, and twill/cdr/lee/yi project as solid role players if not better. we have our draft pick plus the dallas pick next year, and enough cap space to pick up a big offensive producer to take the heat off of devin.

all in all i think we could be competing for 4-8 in the east sooner rather than later. only wish we had a gm nets fans trusted with decision making (morey, preston, pritchard, et al) and a coach who knew what to do with all the young talent.</description>
