SP --

You may remember my declaration of loyalty to LF way back when you and I were perhaps the only regular readers of this site.

I can't get too upset about one particular 5 or another posting a crap +/- in a given game. I'm not ready to give up on the ridiculously-named "wildcat" just yet.

That being said, I can't for the life of me figure out the logic behind its use in the fourth quarter.

+++++++
I would have understood pulling Terrence immediately after he turned the ball over on two consecutive behind-the-back bounce-passes. Thing is, LF didn't take him out then. He waited until...well you know how long he waited.

Can you scratch my head on this? My own hands are damn near worn out.

Sebastian:

As a die hard Nets fan with half a brain I'm really happy about finding this blog. What I took away from the game, once I finished throwing things, was that at least two of the guys who we were a little worried about (TWill and Yi) played well and a guy who we can expect to play well in other games (Devin) played poorly. And we should have won. Then again it was the Wolves. But I'm an optimist.

Beautiful and thorough analysis; it's refreshing to read basketball writing that isn't just speculation or argument over statistics.

I was at this game, by the way, and I can say that the Wolves had no business winning it. Brook Lopez was a shockingly dominant force down low. He got the better of Al Jefferson on essentially all but two plays: a gorgeous spin/stutter-step/tear drop by Al about 30 seconds into the game and Al's block of Brook's jump-hook with about 30 seconds left.
