@Shea23 It's tough, though. What are his options with the Nets moonlighting as a clinic? The backup 4s are either Sean - who has not shown he can get his head on straight - or Najera coming off an injury. Simmons is the only legitimate three-point shooter on the team right now and they need him to stretch the defense as best as he can to make it easier for paint penetration and low-post work for Brook.

What rookies specifically are you talking about that deserved more playing time under Frank? Krstic played about 25 a game his rookie year, if I recall correctly, under Frank. He even started Hassan Adams a few games a few years back. Lopez became a starter after ten games. CDR admits he wasn't ready for the NBA game early on his rookie season and later, after his injuries, he played very well and got the minutes to show for it in March and April.

I agree with you there Frank did a great job coaching this weekend would be nice to see more of that. He does make questionable decisions though like Bobby Simmons at the four. Personally I really dislike his atitiude in years past (not really the last few seasons of course) towards playing rookies. Because that is one of the main ways a team is meant to improve. Naturally a lot of that can be put down the lack of quality draft picks the nets made from 2004-2007 I guess.

Great picks on the key plays, by the way. Looking forward to the video analysis Monday.

Credit to all the players giving it their all yet again but most of all, credit to Lawrence Frank. Two games in a row he's gotten the best out of a joke of a roster (seriously, our all-injured team would dominate our all-healthy team if you think a bout it). Two games just lost in the final seconds that had no right being even close. And after both games, he's drawn commendation from the opposition's coaches. This guy doesn't nearly get the credit he deserves. I really don't understand your distrust of him. This is the kind of game that should be attributed to excellent coaching above all.
