Yeah even Frank is comming round about Simmons I just wish he took him out before he missed those three or four open shots and gave the ball away.

Sebastian - Comment about Bobby Simmons is right on point. His play has been really frustrating/disheartening/concerning/****/etc. He's been getting open shots but hasn't been delivering. To a point, I think you can see that it's also getting to be a mental issue for him. There's been instances where he's had the opportunity to make a shot (even though at times it a small window because of a defender closing in) but he doesn't pull the trigger. At one point late in last night's game, he got a wide open look for a 3 pointer. Instead of taking a wide open 3, he takes a dribble and goes inside the 3 point line, throws up a shot and still misses. This was during that spur where he missed 3-4 straight shots. I don't remember the exact point of the game (4th quarter), but I think it was right after they made that big push to tie the game. As you said, his role is to be a 3 point shooter, but he hasn't been making the shots (whether they are 3's, 17 ft jumpers or those rare occasions when he actually goes to the hole). Sorry for the Bobby rant, but watching him play, I just keep asking when Jarvis Hayes and/or Keyon Dooling are coming back.

When I was watching that Blazers run in the 4th quarter when Simmons came in instead of Sean Williams, and as expected Nets got pounded inside, I was thinking in my head "Sebastian is going to pound Frank's decision to go with the small line-up again".

Right now it looks like no matter how well Lopez plays the Nets are still going to lose because the outside game is just too weak. Harris, Lee, and Simmons can't hit any open threes, not to mention hitting the likes of improbable three like the one Fernandes hit in the 4th quarter. I think players like CDR and Lopez deserve kudos for being able to score even this much on a defense that pretty much knows we're not going to hit the three.
