Eh -while I don't concur with Rob, I get the logic - if you're going to be bad, might as well be historically bad...

Crapped out the win with a couple of open 3's allowed at the end, but a win is a win whether it's by an inch or a mile (Vin Diesel)

I somehow wanted them to go 0-82...dunno why, but thought it'd be funny/unique

FINALLY A WIN!!! WOOOHOOO!!!

It was definitely good to see the team fight and pull out the win. Even when Stephen Jackson hit a pair of 3's to tie the game, it felt like they were still going to take the game and not fold. Then next thing you know, Courtney Lee steals the ball and has a wide open dunk.

Few things I definitely agree with:

1) Keyon definitely looked like another coach on the bench last night. In addition to standing up and cheering the team on defense, during the time outs especially late in the game he was one of the most active in the huddle (coaching wise) behind Dell Harris and Kiki.

2) TWills definitely need to work on his shot. I also have to agree regarding his hesitation when he gets the ball. It seemed like when he touched the ball, he totally slowed the flow of the offense and it ended up with him taking a long jump shot.

3) Crowd was really into the game last night. From going to a big college basketball school, I'm used to standing and cheering for my team throughout the whole game. Watching an NBA game, I always feel bad standing up because of the people behind me won't be able to see (especially this season it's a little kid) and yelling or cheering because of the people in front of me. However, last night, I didn't have to worry about it because almost everyone was standing up and yelling. I loved how people were cheering "De-Fense" after the Devin dive into the crowd. It looked like the officials were about to restart the action, but delayed for about another minute. However, the crowd didn't stop chanting even when the game wasn't restarted.

LET'S GO NETS!!!

Limiting TO's and making stops at the end were big keys to winning the game. Also, we have not seen anyone shoot well from 15+ this year and Lee's performance was also critical.

Once again, Brook took his blue collar approach and had a very productive game. If the Nets can ever surround him with better shooters he'll be able to easily average 20/10.

Unfortunately, you have to let TWill take his shots. You can't allow the defense to cheat anymore than it is by backing off him. If the team knows he won't shoot then they'll back off completely.

I'd like to see TWill stop pausing and be more aggressive when he gets the ball. He's allowing the D to adjust. He just needs to be more unpredictable and let his athleticism work for him.
