Twill should have played more. Brook getting 7 assists is BIG. There is more space for Brook to pass and pivot. Brook has to be a little more selfih and the guards have to reward him for passing the ball. The defense didn't look good(DH got burned early by flynn). I'm still excited to watch this team. The Nets will get better by the allstar break This was a good game, full of positives

Flynn was talking trashed and Devin spritned determined to stop the shot but that was a brilliant play it was almost a clean block he just hit Flyn's arm but mostly the ball if you watch the replay. I like seeign Devin play tough D he didn't last year. Devin ws definatley pissed with Flynn and the losing. It will definitely help stretch the defense and should open more things up for Brooke. One thing I'm not a fan of though..."It's a triple size Yiiiiiii!" =/ I know there's no more "It's a V...C...3!", but they have to figure out something better. Mark - Do you see the frustration of losing getting to Devin? There was one play in the second half where Ryan Hollins was on him on an inbound and Devon just full out shoved Hollins to the ground. Then there was the hard foul on Flynn. I think it started w/ the hard foul during the Golden State game against Montae or Curry. What's your take on Devon's harder fouls. Also, Brooke really looked bad last night. I remember at the end of the 3rd quarter when he was outrebounded and scored on in the paint by 6'4" Wayne Ellington. Totally killed a little rally/energy that they had building to the fourth quarter. I mean it sucked so much enthusiasm/energy out of me that I couldn't even get up to cheer for when they start shooting shirts into the crowd before the start of the 4th quarter. His on the ball defense was very solid and it led to a few steals. I really hope that Dooling becomes the fulltime back up point guard because he just looks a lot better out there than Alston did. I also see Yi replacing Boone in the starting lineup in the next game against the Rockets. Boone is just being outplayed right now. I noticed that TWill sometimes forces the action. He's a great offensive rebounder and you can see flashes of good instincts sometimes, but he just can't do it consistently. But at least yi rocks, i think he's in for a good year.
