"But the Nets actually had the rebounding edge for the first three quarters of the game, until they stopped shooting the ball with any consistency. Consider if a team continues to shoot the ball at 45 percent or less, it’s going to give the opposing team a lot of rebounding opportunities."

That wasn't a factor last night. OKC had 40 misses (they shot 36-76) and the Nets had... 41 misses (34-75). That is, the Nets had only 1 more miss than OKC had, but were still out-rebounded by 10.

I was at the game and I was thinking the exact same things you were. Rafer Alston and Terrence Williams should never be on the court simultaneously the way they've been playing. They're both terrible shooters and even worse decision-makers. At least Yi is starting to look legit: he's confident, driving the lane well, taking smart shots, and seemingly stronger than I've ever seen him (which, to be fair, still isn't that strong). I've got faith in this team, but the bench right now is absolutely atrocious - Dooling needs more time, Alston and Williams need less, and we clearly need CDR back ASAP. Thankfully he will be.

You'll be hearing me chant "John Wall, John Wall" all the way to June.

[...] Sebastian Pruiti of Nets Are Scorching; does this sound familiar?: “Another day, another bad Nets loss, and another opportunity for me to openly wonder where and when can the Nets find their victories this season? It’s getting to the point where I’m openly bartering with the basketball gods – I’ll take the bare minimum – give me 10. Just no more history books. No more futility to top all futilities.” [...]

We have too many bone headed players in this team and wannabe hero. We are way more talented than the Houston Rockets but look what happen. They beat the OKC and Nets.

Hang in there. I feel your pain. Just keep supporting your team and things will get better! Good game last night. Good luck!
