Hey Ben, the Nets are 3-34 so I don't think anybody's minutes are safe, regardless of how well they might be doing. Plus there's a good shot that Boone isn't even on this team in the very near future.

Who says he is taking Josh Boones minutes. Boone backs up Lopez and he has been doing a good job. Humphries can back up Yi

thats true hes just replacin Najera and Sean who never played so as long as he gets some minutes hes already goin to do more then both guys did. i think he'll be solid at reboundin and hustlin so i like the whole trade and of course sean getting dropped

Hey all Kris has to do is play hard, rebound, attempt to play defense, and he will take some of Yi's time.YES i think he will bring effort to this team, because the Nets have no one that gives them that second and third effort!
Please get rid of Josh Boone,he has no skill that stands out,he doesn't give you that extra effort, and for player like him who lack skills you would think he would give you effort all the time. MR. Rod Thorn,Kiki, look at the Houston Rockets, tell the players to look at them and you will see that you do not need a lot of talent to win games,if you put forth the effort you will give yourself a chance to win on most nights. And T-Will get your act together are you will be in the D league.

Personally, I never really saw him as such a bad defender, but on the other hand I never paid extensive attention to it either, so I guess Rob's take is to be trusted.
He sure had his share of great blocks, though. Here is the one I remember most fondly:
