- The 6th man era for Chris Douglas-Roberts got off to a rough start, as he was held scoreless in less than 10 minutes of play.
- Solid game for Courtney Lee with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
- Jarvis Hayes had 11 points on 5-10 shooting in his first start of the season.

I can imagine that last time out.
Devin: “right lets foul their best free throw shooter and then I’ll throw up a highly contested three of the dribble with plenty of time left even though I’m shooting it somewhere in the range of 15% for the year.”
Kiki: Ok sounds good as long as you foul rip again and Yi gets a touch on the next posesion.
Yi: Shot for Yi!
Courtney: Can’t I miss the three coach?
Kiki: Ask Del?
Del: Sorry what I was busy thinking what I’d do on the plane, how much did we lose by?
Brook Lopez: Help!

Terrible coaching, especially with about 40 seconds left when they were down 2. They called a timeout to set up a good play, and then failed terribly when Courtney Lee forced a three. I know that wasn’t the designed play, but I also didn’t see the ball getting to Brook at any point during that play. How about calling a play that gives the ball to your best player in the post! Let him either put up a shot, or have a double team come and then set someone else up for a shot. The Nets really should have never let Kiki coach.

What happened to CDR? Why did he only play 10 minutes? This is not the way to keep your burgeoning 6th man happy … it’s also [of course] no way to win games. I mean, really. CDR seems down about it, and it’s really understandable. I mean, why is he on the bench? It isn’t helping the team.

it’s a bad cycle. CDR is not playing well because he is down, so he is not getting many minutes, which makes he more down etc.
what he needs to do is be like trenton hassell, always ready to play and compete even if his minutes are fluctuating between 0 and 40 every night.
I agree that harris should’ve just driven the ball that last possession, he should be able to beat prince off the dribble. I think Harris felt like he was the hot hand, as he also tossed up what was evidently a heat check 3-pointer with about 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter. The problem is, he was hot with 15-17 ft jumpers and free throws, he did not make a single 3 the whole game.
