Nice read. Enjoy Avery, Nets fans; he has a lot of detractors but he got better defense out of the Mavs than any other coach has managed and they played a lot of good ball with him coaching.

His style should work well with a young team, he doesn't always mesh well with veteran egos.

Great job Sebastian.

Gabe, I think Favors would fit Avery's system beautifully. He has tremendous length, athleticism and range, plus much better overall effort on the defensive end than Cousins. In time Favors should be able to hedge, defend the shooter, or roll back if needed.

His PNR defensive potential is a big part of the reason I think Favors may end up being the best player in this draft.

Good work man! I think Terrence Williams has the most potential to really excel with this system when defending point guards because of his athleticism. However, Devin's speed is also an advantage. Either player will be great in this system. Although, I am not sure Brook is as fast as Nowitski but what Brook lacks in speed he makes up in positioning (potentially--if he is settled into the right system). Once Brooks teammates are on the same page he will be about 100 times more effective as a defender. That's scary to to think about.
Now the question is, which players are the best help defenders on the Nets and which player is better out of Cousins and Favors? I am guessing Yi Jianlian is either going to get traded or benched because his horrible defense will not make him a fan of Avery.
